The Idea
For many years i have been learning about and experimenting with sound and music across projects, both solo with other people. Sometimes this would be for a ‘work’ aim, but often it would stem from curiosity to try out and test ideas with the view of seeing where they go. Sonic Journal has become a place to house these ideas, whether in written text blog or podcast audio form.

The content
The content for Sonic Journal is both long and short, and displays the abstract alongside more structured documentary style pieces, all depending on where i have been and what has inspired my thoughts. So Cicadas in the Mediterranean summer night, trips out into woodland or moorland, sound journeys on the bike and little microphone build projects are all likely to feature at some point; along with the yet to be heard and discovered...
